HereHere! I so agree with this entire post. I used to not only settle for mediocrity but the pure filth that are some men these days. I'm getting better and choosing my partners carefully as I need more from a man than... well... what they want from me >.> Anyway, good luck finding your man and I hope to find mine. Preferably before my 30's. XDD

A-MEN sister!!

hahhaha a men, get it get it? LOL sorry it's 2am and i'm lacking sleep. but my gosh thank you for that refreshing post.

and i just realized how similar your "list" of qualities are to mine. i went and made myself one a while back and challenged myself as to how high my expectation could be. haha let's just that the list is really long.

anyway. you're a really REALLY special person and no you shouldn't expect anything less but the best, especially about something as important as love.

i realize that a lot of women have the mindset that they won't find anything better out there so they settle for the ones that they can tolerate. i dunno why that happens. maybe it's a product of society, some cultural thing and too many external factors but i hope, sincerely, that for those of us out there who still believe in romance and genuine love have something to look forward to, even if we have to wait a long time.

=) I'm glad we share similar preferences in what we want in a man. *hug*

I know we'll find someone special eventually.. ^_^

well.. I'm sorry about your religious struggles.. but it demonstrates precisely why I want my husband to share my faith in God. I don't necessarily want to like.. INDOCTRINATE my kids in religion, hahaha.. but I do want to share with them what I believe, and hope that they will seek wisdom in God ( ... )

well said, maybe i'll have something more to add when I recover from the shock of sudden immersion into a college like society, said recovery may never happen, but atleast they've got an unsecured wireless network for me to piggy back off of....

Well put!

That's a good point, that perhaps there is not enough gentlemen out there because there is an abundance of women who are...well, simply put, easy; and thusly don't care if they settle for second best.

But there are many women out there who strive to find "him". A man of intellect, charm, strong beliefs, compassion, humour, conviction, and love. As well as someone who can look after himself, stay groomed, and have a sense of style. Not to mention someone who respects himself and his image.
