Gamers are elitist snobs. There is little you can do about that. Even if they wanted to draw 5000 people for the "con" (I call it a game room event), they would still make sure that every single person from those 5000 was made to feel like shit and inadequate when it came to gaming.

I've been to indie music shows in Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens and Red Hook that were, in comparison, as welcoming as AA groups.

So when my car got a flat, I started to fix it! The a nice young man and his mom pulled over, and she made hi m finish changing it for me :D
