This past weekend i worth talking about... O_o

To sum it up, this weekend started innocently enough then it went downhill.

I'll start with the bad since it's stuck in my head and I wants to kill it. N.P.C. or the gamer con was utter shit. Someone in the decision making dept fucked up bad. Well to be fair I should have known better, it happened the day after Halloween on a Sunday. Which meant a couple of things: 1. No gamer con staff. 2. No one around to donate equipment 3. No one sober enough to show up. Originally the con was set for Nov. 14 but they changed the day because their vendor, Dragon's Den, double booked and only had Nov. 1 open. The man or woman in charge of that club should be dragged out in the street and shot.  YOU TOOK   A HORRIBLE DAY TO ACCOMODATE YOUR VENDOR?!??

no but really whoever make the decisions for this con should be ousted. Hands down.

Insult to injury was the fact that my tire blew out on the way to the con. I was so lucky Mark was with me to change it.

But as you all know I carry I deep rooted grudge for this con and the people in charge, not because of personal hate but for the fact that they won't take on any ideas from other people.

I honestly predict this con to fall apart and die unless someone can bring back the magic that the original guys brought to it from the beginning. Some of you guys may remember those gamers in Esopus who grew from a small group to a powerful club to aspirations of a con.

My big thing was that I always felt they needed to be more creative with advertising and marketing. As I recall the highest turnout they had was 200, for a dorm campus of 5,000 students that's real bad. But  I always felt the reason they were happy with that paltry number is that they never wanted the event to be all campus inclusive. (That's right they just want the gamers) But if they had tried to market to the campus body, it could have grown in leaps in bounds in no time at all.

So disappointment and sucky ol' Sunday.

Saturday was fun. I went with a small group to a attraction called Headless Horseman (http://www.headlesshorseman.com/) It was alot of fun except for the cheapass fog they used at some parts. Since I'm recovering from Bronchitis it made me cough uncontrollably a bunch of times. One in our group had to leave because of her asthma. And yes I got scared and screamed a bunch of times. The most fun I had I admit was the chainsaw guy pretending to chase people.

Afterwards we went to the Mason house for a Halloween party. Good drunken times were had. Reid and Dan want to make the Multiverse Chronicle a independent webzine. It could work but I would need a good solid grammar whore. (I am not sadly) I think getting content wouldn't be difficult but ehhhh I dunno.

I keep getting screwed financially. Mostly it has to do with my car. >_> That's a bad Sally. But then cars are money guzzlers, especially when you have a decent length of a commute. I need to buy all new tires in Dec.  too. yay....... Being hard up for money all the time does not make a Jen more creative. -_-
