Normally at home, I'll just speak my broken English. x) But when I'm sitting for oral test or inquiring about something outside, I would speak in a British accent. Actually in Malaysia, we like... Know British accent and America accent, just like how I spell 'colour' or 'color' when I want to.

NOOOOOOO, I don't want you to get put in jail, don't you simple talk~ xD ♥

LOL, effettivamente "Eleira" è carino! XD Però capisco, il nome di una persona è sacro e non si tocca! >w<; E mi sa che un po' tutti gli stranieri hanno difficoltà a pronunciare i nomi italiani... Tutta questione di fonetica! XD;

^^ That is good, Chibichan! Although, I have a southwest American accent. I even sometimes say the "Ya'll" because I live so close to Texas. ;; So if I try to speak some other languages, some people look at me is if I should just stay speaking English because I try with their names, it just is hard. XD;

Anyways, gotta love the British accents (and Scottish...♥). They normally act professional whenever you call something and they answer. Sadly, here, if we have our own people answering the phones and they so far away...they cannot pronouce some names correctly (mostly Spanish and French). I was that customer service you called! ^^;

Ah, you can call me just Chibi~ Haha, is that so? XD When I went to Texas, a lot of people couldn't pronounce my name right (they kept saying "Frederica" instead of "Federica"), it looks like my name is too difficult (I always think it's sort of "too Italian" for foreign speakers, haha). XD; I think it has a lot to do with phonetics. :3

Oh, yeah. ♥ I have a massive soft spot for British accents (or any UK accent, really XD), that's also one of the reasons why I want to study there and try to learn how to speak with a British accent. Right now my accent is just... half-Italian, half-American. XD; (I can speak German with a somewhat German accent, though, strangely enough.)
Aw, I see. I was just really lucky that the guy who picked up the phone could pronounce my name right! ♥ Haha. XD

;; Texans misprounce names way too much. (Sorry, New Mexico has a thing against Texas right now, so I gotta share the rivalry. :3) Luckily, my accent is not so bad even if the "Ya'll" will slip out at times. I got told by an Irish woman my "accent was clear." I felt so loved because of that! ♥ Maybe your name is difficult for foreign speakers because in English the vowels might sound a bit different? :0 Or you are right, it might have to do with phonetics ( ... )
