(Sorry, New Mexico has a thing against Texas right now, so I gotta share the rivalry. :3) Luckily, my accent is not so bad even if the "Ya'll" will slip out at times. I got told by an Irish woman my "accent was clear." I felt so loved because of that! ♥ Maybe your name is difficult for foreign speakers because in English the vowels might sound a bit different? :0 Or you are right, it might have to do with phonetics.

I would LOVE to learn how to speak with a British accent. I just sound so weird if I try to speak any other langauge because of my accent. Half-Italian, half-American...:3 That sounds pretty to me. I love European accents a lot too. *Fangirls* If you go and study in the UK, I wish you luck! It is a small place land wise, but very beautiful and wonderful cultures. I chase after the Scottish culture in particular, because my family was original from there. :3

(If I try to speak German or Dutch, I sound like I'm killing the poor language. I think most European speakers respect me trying, just not the sounds that come out. I think Japanese speakers feel the same way. I laugh my Spanish accent because it sounds so strange).

I think we all can fangirl over the British accents though. ♥
