Just wanted to do a quick plug of my friend's band... they're called 耳切坊主 (Mimichiri Bouzu), and they're a sweet little Okinawan rock band (Okinawa being an island south of Japan - the one where I live. :P)

Just went out and bought myself the August editions of GYAO and POTATO magazines. They're fantastic!!

Well, not fantastic as in "loads of excellent reading-material", but fantastic as in *fangirl squeal* plenty of Tomakun! I wish I had a scanner so I could upload this stuff.

Mostly because I am a complete idiot, I've decided to start translating Ikuta Toma's TOMAGOTO (his J-web blog). I know plenty of other people do it, but I figured I do it in my head every time I read it anyway, and this is good kanji practice for me (he uses some difficult ones!!).
