So I'm reading about Escher sentences, which are constructions that look normal at first, but as soon as they're analyzed, they become impossible to understand.

I don't like looking at infinite staircases, or a hand drawing itself... I feel squirmy about them after I've looked for more than a few seconds. These sentences are like that.
