Synopsis: It's JunSu's birthday, ChangMin and KiBum were invited to come for the party, sort of.

A/N: This piece was specially written for Julie (I think I can call her that) or better known as sbluesnow. She was in a very, very bad situation and I don't know how to cheer her up. Trust that she'd finished what supposed to be done and hope she'll enjoy this. Happy reading everyone.

"Stop grumbling!" KiBum demanded, having finally grown tired of the incessant complaining from inside his bathroom.

"Everyone is doing it!"

"I don't want to" ChangMin argued from the other side of the door.

KiBum paused momentarily from putting on his killer smile. Over the last few months, ChangMin had spent so much time with him that they almost become more than just friends. Almost. There was still one thing missing. There had been several moments when they had come so close to crossing the line that kept them apart, but each time ChangMin had pulled them out of the danger zone. If there hadn’t been so many moments; and if KiBum hadn’t seen the desire in his best friend's eyes, and felt the intense energy between them, KiBum might have let it go. But he knew ChangMin wanted him as much as he wanted ChangMin, and he had the feeling that their little dance was going to stop.

Tonight.

"You agreed to go" KiBum replied. "Or do you want me to go alone?"

The door clicked open. ChangMin finally stepped out of the bathroom. "Is this compulsory?"

"You look...great!" KiBum smiled, hoping it looked genuine.

Park YooChun had decided on having a party to celebrate his boyfriend's birthday and at the very last minute informed his list of guests that they should play dress up. ChangMin wasn't anywhere near when the cheesy bastard told everyone of his plan and had deliberately persuaded KiBum to draw a paper from a tiny mysterious box filled with colourful confetti.

KiBum didn't know what was coming but he put his hand in the box through the tiny hole and pulled out a white paper.

It had a very scrawling handwritten on it which YooChun later said that the purpose of him creating such fantastic idea, was to make sure no one will come to the party wearing the same costume and the party will go smoothly as planned without hearing any silly complaints.

KiBum read his and was wide-eyed but nodded anyway. He remembered ChangMin once told him that his hyungs are very, very crazy when it comes to games. One look and will soon notice that they were fresh and crazy enough to be put into any asylum. ChangMin said he needed to stay sane so the best way was to befriend anyone outside the group, which makes KiBum feels real special.

When YooChun demanded, yes, demanded him to draw one for ChangMin, who by the way, was missing and had told KiBum that he couldn't meet him for a while because he was very busy with his year end papers, and the unfinished piling up assignments that are due the following week. It was too hectic for him to even sit down and eat when he has so many other engagements apart from being a student.

KiBum declined but YooChun was too compelling, pushing the little box on his chest, forcefully and KiBum had no way to run but to grab a paper for his best friend. He prayed hard that it wouldn't be anything funny but like ChangMin said, his hyungs are crazy.

ChangMin pursed his lips with draggy mood. "I look like a giant spider!"

"That was the idea" KiBum reminded him as he took a good look at his outfit.

It was a simple, yet effective design. ChangMin wore black trousers and black t-shirt, and had a long black coat, onto which were attached eight legs made out of wires and fabric so they stuck out at its sides. Each set of four was attached to his arm on that side, so that they moved when his arms moved. To complete the look, KiBum was to paint his face black. At least that's what was written on the instructions, sent by YooChun who was kind enough to find someone to design the suit. KiBum was glad, ChangMin wasn't.

"Really, you look very good" KiBum said sincerely before slipping into the bathroom with his own costume.

ChangMin's breath caught in his throat when he saw what KiBum was wearing. He had been assured that he would also be in a comical costume, but wasn't allowed to know what it was. Now he wished he had known so he wouldn't look as awestruck as he currently did.

KiBum had on a tight black suit, with white bones stitched onto it. It showed off his figure and reminded ChangMin that as well as having a great mind, and sense of humour, this man also had a great body. It wasn’t something he had forgotten, but something he chose not to think about. It could be very, very distracting to his precious life.

"One of your legs was a little too floppy" KiBum said as he grabbed one of the fabric legs.

"Oh" Was all that ChangMin could manage.

"So what do you think of my costume?" KiBum asked, taking a step back after adjusting ChangMin's legs.

ChangMin watched as KiBum twirled around in front of the mirror, which allowed his best friend to see the outfit hugging his body all at the right place. "It's very....accurate"

"I've had practiced at putting together bones" KiBum pouted, showing his three bandaged fingers. "I even injured myself while trying to sew them"

ChangMin didn't like the pout and he was beginning to hate YooChun for this stupid idea but upon realising that his friend still had that face on, ChangMin stated the only thing that was truthful, confidently. "You're the best looking skeleton I've ever seen"

"Thank you, ChangMin. And you're the hottest spider I've ever seen" KiBum grinned widely. ChangMin was grinning along.

"Now, sit down while I paint your face" KiBum said, patting on the end of the bed. ChangMin's smile fell.

"But -"

"No, you have to!" KiBum countered before he'd even had a chance.

Rolling his eyes, ChangMin sat down and tried not to look at KiBum's body when he was leaning towards him. He failed.

He also tried not to enjoy the feeling of KiBum's hands against his skin. He failed at that too.

"Close your eyes. I need to do your lids so you won't look weird when you blink"

"As if I'm not weird enough" ChangMin said but complied anyway, forcing himself to relax into the touch as KiBum gently stroked paint onto his eyelids. It seemed, however, that he was failing at everything tonight.

KiBum lean his upper body towards him as he painted his face, looking at the picture he printed out moments ago.

ChangMin's breath hitched the second he felt the fingers touched his skin. He so wanted to pull away from the touch when he could feel KiBum's thumb stopped at the corner of his eye. But he just couldn't.

Despite his mind resistance, ChangMin's head tilted the mouth towards KiBum's hand and he gently kissed the edge of his palm. KiBum's eyes widened and then grew some more when ChangMin turned into him further and continued to place kisses along his hand. A shiver moved his spine as ChangMin's lips connected with the very centre of his palm and his eyes slid closed as ChangMin took hold of KiBum's hand and moved it away from his face as he kissed each part of each finger. KiBum swallowed and told himself to open his eyes, or at least move his hand but it didn't work. His brain wouldn't want to cooperate.

Finishing his exploration, ChangMin took a proper hold on his hand and stood up. Because KiBum had been so close to the bed, their bodies were now touching. They both opened their eyes at this new contact, finding themselves looking deep into the other’s eyes. They didn’t speak. They couldn’t speak. The only thing they could do was follow the force that was drawing them closer to each other. Their eyes slipped closed again as their lips touched. It was a soft kiss, sending a tingle through both bodies, and they soon held each other tighter and pressed their mouths together harder as their minds registered that they wanted this to happen.

All ten of ChangMin’s legs wrapped around KiBum who pushed ChangMin backwards onto the bed. They fell on the soft mattress, their lips never parting; their tongues now duelling and exploring. As they broke for air, ChangMin moved to roll them over so that he would be on top , but four of his legs got in the way. ChangMin groaned as one leg folded between their faces, poking ChangMin in the side of his nose.

KiBum giggled, sat up to allow ChangMin to sort out his costume. ChangMin too sat up, pushing and pulling at the leg, trying to get it back into place. Seeing how awkward it was for him to do it himself, KiBum leaned over and fixed it.

"There you go" He smiled, feeling an awkwardness no settling on them as their eyes met once again.

"I...er...I....Erm...I've probably got black paint all over my face" KiBum said quickly and headed for the bathroom.

ChangMin frowned a little and followed him, stopping in the open doorway and watching as KiBum used a damp cloth to wipe at the paint around his mouth.

"If you regret it, I can try to forget that it ever happened"

KiBum stopped and looked at ChangMin. "What?"

The other simply smiled awkwardly.

"Are you regretting?"

"No"

"Neither do I" KiBum smiled a little. "It just took me by surprise"

"Really?" ChangMin asked, walking further into the room. "It's been brewing for months...maybe even years"

"Years!?"

ChangMin nodded shyly.

"You keep pulling away though" KiBum said quietly, wondering why he was feeling nervous and actually quite terrified.

"I didn’t want to ruin anything...I wasn’t sure it was what you wanted"

"It's always been what I wanted" KiBum smiled.

"Me too....it's a little pity it took us so long to admit" ChangMin said, standing even closer. "You missed a spot, by the way"

KiBum frowned and began to turn back to the mirror. "Where?"

"Right here" ChangMin said as he pulled KiBum and captured his lips in a passionate kiss.

At the same time, far north from KiBum's apartment, were two lovers lounging in their bedroom, sipping off wine. There were no signs of party going on or any groupies hanging out anywhere near them. Just the two, cuddling under the soft sheets with rose petals scattered everywhere around them.

JunSu was getting very uncomfortable as time passed. "You know, I think it's time to call ChangMin and tell him th -"

"Relax. No need, SuSu-ah" YooChun quickly interrupted.

"I don't want to feel his rage. You know how ChangMin can go al -"

"Don't worry, baby" YooChun cooed.

"How do you know it'll work?"

"Of course it will. Mine never fail, okay?" YooChun replied "The spell takes effect within twenty four hours. So on special day like this, it probably works quicker. They'll be kissing right now and forget about you already"

"My birthday isn't a special day for -"

"It is for me...and them"

"Well, I hope so" JunSu said. "I'm sick of them pretending to be just friends. And this is easier than banging their heads together"

"You'd probably get in trouble for that" YooChun agreed.

"And that way they won't know it was us" JunSu nodded.

"Exactly" YooChun slurred as he inched his face closer to his boyfriend's.

"What are you doing?" JunSu asked as he moved his head away.

"You promised me" YooChun argued.

"But how can you be so sure your spell worked?"

"Honey, no calls from either of them" YooChun reasoned. "And my spell works all the time. I can feel they're ripping off clothes right now"

"Okay, okay....." JunSu giggled and skipped off to stand at the pole stage.

The scheming pervert had told his sweet innocent boyfriend that he has some sort of magical powers which he could only cast a spell during special days. JunSu was skeptical and asked him to show some proof. YooChun deliberately requested to place a bet and said that it could only work if JunSu would sacrifice and put himself as punishment to serve as a reward on his own coming birthday. The poor angelic birthday boy fell for the trick and soon agreed. He didn't know that YooChun had ordered the pole staging a week before.

"Ready, Chunnie?" JunSu asked, a finger on the 'play' radio button.

"Oh....yeah, baby"
