So I got home this morning after almost 24 hours of grueling travel. It doesn't take that long to fly from Jamaica to San Francisco or vice versa, but there were so many delays and a lengthy layover. Got in this morning at half past midnight and finally managed to leave the airport around 1:15am (baggage claim delays, parking shuttle wait, etc.). I

Welcome back, Reevsie! It sounds like someone had a fun and exciting vacation. :) Do post some pictures when you have time and write more about the trip. I am thinking about visiting the Caribbean in the summer and Jamaica is one location I'm considering.

*hugs back* Thanks! Things have been busy, but I should have the write up soon and I did post one pic with my Halloween post.

If you pick Jamaica, consider an all-inclusive vacation. This is what we did. You get your meals, lodging, snacks, some water activities, and drinks for one price and the gratuities are already included. Since everything was pre-paid, we didn't have to worry about carrying a lot of cash around the resort and it just made everything super convenient. I'm sure they have similar offerings on different Caribbean islands.

How 'bout them Giants? Truly an awesome game last night and well worth the cost of the tickets. I saw my Giants win and three Panda homers! Gotta love it.

Glad you're back and that you got out before the hurricane hit. You have to tell us more about the trip and post pics. It is getting colder now and I could use some warm tropical notes about your stay in Jamaica.

LOL! The newspaper headline for the following day was "Kung Fu Panda 3" and I thought it was cute.

I'm so grateful that we left before Sandy arrived in the Caribbean. She was scheduled to sweep through the day after we left and the airlines canceled many flights.

Yes, I finally had the opportunity to have a marathon GH watching session and I'm all caught up. My mind is kind of reeling over the revisionist history of AJ, but it is good to see Sean Kanan back in the role.

Oh, Reeves. I didn't see when you were coming home and I thought you were stuck in Jamaica when the hurricane hit. :( I'm happy you're home. *hugs*

*hugs back* Thankfully not. I was really worried, but the hurricane wasn't due in that area until the day after.

Whee! It was an awesome barbecue and Halloween party made sweeter by the Giants ' victory! They are World Series champions. :)
