So I got home this morning after almost 24 hours of grueling travel. It doesn't take that long to fly from Jamaica to San Francisco or vice versa, but there were so many delays and a lengthy layover. If you pick Jamaica, consider an all-inclusive vacation. This is what we did. You get your meals, lodging, snacks, some water activities, and drinks for one price and the gratuities are already included. Since everything was pre-paid, we didn't have to worry about carrying a lot of cash around the resort and it just made everything super convenient. I'm sure they have similar offerings on different Caribbean islands.

Glad you're back and that you got out before the hurricane hit. You have to tell us more about the trip and post pics. It is getting colder now and I could use some warm tropical notes about your stay in Jamaica.

I'm so grateful that we left before Sandy arrived in the Caribbean. She was scheduled to sweep through the day after we left and the airlines canceled many flights.

Whee! It was an awesome barbecue and Halloween party made sweeter by the Giants ' victory! They are World Series champions. :)
