Home Again
So I got home this morning after almost 24 hours of grueling travel. It doesn't take that long to fly from Jamaica to San Francisco or vice versa, but there were so many delays and a lengthy layover. Got in this morning at half past midnight and finally managed to leave the airport around 1:15am (baggage claim delays, parking shuttle wait, etc.). I'm glad we were able to leave when we did because a storm was due to hit the following day and it did. Hurricane Sandy is/was in the areas we visited. I hope it didn't cause much damage there.
One more thing before I sign off because I am still exhausted and I need more sleep. GO GIANTS WOO-HOO!!! I've been watching the playoff games from Jamaica and Game 1 of the World Series from the comfort of my livingroom. What an amazing and exciting game. Hee, even SFO was in on the action with a huge Giants logo by the airport sign.
I'm off the rest of the week and I will be catching up with my LJ reading soon. I've missed you, Flist!
