• Last Thursday I went to see My Sister's Keeper with friends and I finally saw the New Moon trailer on the big screen for the first time. This was definitely my least favorite book in the Twilight series because I loathed the protagonist's actions and the way she was written, but the trailer still managed to look appealing.

I did not like the film adaptation at all. It was good on its own, but too different from the book. I also felt that they left out so much with Campbell. The film ending was disappointing too.

I'm not much of a Harry Potter fan, but even I knew that that the answer was C.

Agreed. I know filmmakers have to balance what looks good on camera while staying true to the story, but they changed a lot.

Was the book really sad? I focus on lighter fare for the summer, but I could put that on my to-read list for fall. I might see the movie this weekend since most everyone else will be seeing HBP. I have tickets for the midnight showing.

It was extremely sad. Bring some tissues to the movie if you're prone to crying. As for the book, it deals with heavy issues and is by no means lighter fare. It's a good curl-up-with-a-blanket type of book, so yes, save for cooler weather.

Midnight showing of HBP? Whee! *high fives* Have fun watching!
