Here is the list of all the films I watched in theaters in 2007 and brief thoughts about them. There are 78 titles listed, but some I saw two or more times.
There are some I would have happily skipped; Resident Evil and I Know Who Killed Me are the first two that come to mind. I want to be with my friends though, and that sometimes means I have to watch what they like. And vice versa, of course.
Hee, I think I know exactly which scene! :P It was steamy, but where is the romance? Yeah, it would have been hard given the parameters. There was a lot steam in other scenes as well.
*headdesk* The friend who picked Rocky Balboa for us to watch is a huge Stallone fan. A few days ago, it was his turn to pick the film; it didn't surprise me to find myself sitting in a theater, watching Rambo save the day. Yet again
( ... )
You have so much patience to compile this list, Reeves. That is seriously a lot of films. Of the ones you listed, I've seen 22. Do you keep a file or something for the things you watch?
I have to watch Pan's Labyrinth again and OotP, maybe after the Super Bowl.
*grins* Yes, I love keeping lists. I have a list of all the movies I watched in theaters since 2001, but I only thought about actually posting the yearly lists in 2007 for the movies I watched in 2006. I compile the titles and try to post the list in January on my LJ.
Pan's Labyrinth was one of my favorite movies for 2007. I wish I had a better command of Spanish so I could actually study the facial expressions and details of the film without trying to read what they're saying.
Definitely! The discussions are part of the fun of watching with friends. I've never understood why some of my other friends say that they'd prefer to do something more social instead of watching a movie. Yes, you're quiet for about two hours, but afterwards you get to talk about it, especially if there are strong opinions.
I hope to see something better from Nicholas Cage soon. All three you mentioned in your post were just worthless. I did like National Treasure (the first one) and I agree. The sequel was pointless. They paved the way for a Part 3. Nooooooo, is all I can say.
Nicholas Cage hasn't made any good movies in a while. I'm so disappointed with most of the roles he chosen to play in recent years. National Treasure 1 was extremely flawed, but for what it's worth, I thought it was entertaining.

Viggo was nomintated for a Best Actor Oscar. I don't think he'll win, but you're right about the eye candy. That one scene... *swoons*
