Sir Terry Pratchett has died.  He was only 66 and suffered from a form of Early Onset Alzheimer's that took his body before his mind.  He managed to finish his last book, "The Shepherd's Crown", before he took his walk with Death across the black desert plain.

Terry Pratchett, an author that I have loved for 20 years, is suffering from early onset Alzheimer's.  He is 59.  He made the announcement yesterday.

He is amazing and I hope he fights it tooth and nail.  I own all of his Discworld books.  He is an amazing author and from what I have read a really decent human
