Princess and the Frog

We took the kids to see "The Princess and the Frog" this morning.  It was a really good movie.  The kids did really good and sat still for most of the movie.  The were a little scared for some scenes but overall they really liked it.  I especially liked Tiana's interactions with her rich best friend.  She may have been a bit shallow but she was a

Disney Movies

I just watched Disney's UP and couldn't believe what a beautiful movie it was. It had many themes I don't normally associate with a kid's movie. The graphics amazed me on my new tv. Pixar outdid themselves on this one.

We saw that over the summer. The kids loved it as well but for different reasons than Chris and I did. It was so well written, not something I can say about a LOT of animated movies. The scenes between Carl and his wife were so amazing. The fact that they didn't even need words to show how their lives changed over time was stunning.

Pixar is the goal that every animation company should live up to.
