Okay, you already know how much I love it, maybe even more than last year's instalment ;). Not just because it's you but because I really love plot driven stories - even if they give me the heebie-jeebies *g*.
I love that this is so... grisly and elegant at the same time. I think my favorite bits are Keltie re-enacting her murder because it's violent, but you write it very serenely - and of course the climax because CREEPY HAUNTED HOUSE and CHASED BY CREEPY PUPPETS and, and. I know you know exactly what scares me, hahaha.
I also really enjoy what you've done with all the characters - this is a very AU kind of AU *g*, but you still keep the people intact by making them creatures or giving them jobs/callings that really fit them, like Gabe. I also really loved Shane being a calming influence in Ryan's life <3. There was just enough cuddles to calm me down from all the scary stuff :D
