And watch for stray embers. They won't kill you, but they can destroy your clothing.

In particular, if there are outhouses nearby, make sure the Tiki torch is not capable of tipping over ONTO the outhouse.

I can see how that would end badly. Yikes indeed.

Fire is scary and can so so much damage quickly. It's literally not something to play with.

We had some fire dancers who were careful and good at what they did and a lot of fun to watch. But in general, people needed to be more careful.
