The tiki torch near the outhouses would have been epic... maybe almost worth it?

The spent propane cans in the fire... that approaches being a Darwin Awards entry. That poor guy got off easy.

You must have some amazing stories from these events. Why on earth would anyone think it's a good idea to throw empty propane cans into a fire? I loved this peek into the staff side of these events.

It wasn't fire-related but "the guy who fell on his sword" was probably the best first-aid story. Staff get to see/hear all kinds of weird things.

I have worked at both Ren Faire and Fantasy Faires sometimes the staff can be worse than the patrons!

Oh dear! Those are some scary accounts. Also, I didn't realize you participated in SCA. I did many years ago, off and on, but the parks all banned campfires.
