I dunno. I wasn't thinking along those lines, so clue me into your headspace. How does forgiveness matter?

Either you make someone feel happier, more confident, have a moment of illumination (my secret classroom agenda... shhh, don't tell), or one makes someone feel awful. (The middle ground is mostly boring, so let's skip over that.) So if we scamper 'round this dichotomy, forgiveness is moot for the former, and perhaps awaiting an apology first for the latter?
