Anime Recommendations?

Some of my friends have been doing some form of this, so...

Anime Recommendations?

I'm behind with manga and have a ton of books to read, so, anime that people like and might recommend? I won't be as generous as Plum who is saying she'll watch whole series, but if you recommend something, I'll at least watch the first three episodes, sound fair? ( Read more... )

I'm still in the beginning of season two, but Gundam 00 was actually pretty darn amazing. I don't know how similar it is to Seed, but I think you'd like it anyhow.

And I'm not entirely sure, but I think you should give Baccano a shot. It can be a bit bloody, but you seem to handle Higurashi just fine, so I don't think it'll be a big deal. It's such a great story and the characters are pretty darn original and amazing.

And I'll toss in Zombie Loan too. It's Peach-Pit but it's completely different from Shugo Chara in most aspects aside from the art and some character designs. It's short, sadly, and has a pretty interesting plot going, so you might appreciate it.

and one piece plz

OH AND MIRACLE TRAIN

I'm only two episodes in, but if you want something completely unique, it's worth a shot. |D

I just watched Noein... gash I loved it. And I don't usually like sci-fi-ish stuff...

Umm, what do you like? Kamichama Karin comes to mind for some reason, so I'll recommend that too. It is so endearing~

Also I feel the need to recommend Cromartie High School because it's the most hilarious show I've ever seen. Also Slayers! I have so maaany more. But I really, really enjoyed the ones listed. What's your favourite genre?

I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy person, although I have liked some slice-of-life series - particularly if they're funny or heartwarming.

Oh, and I've seen/read (I have 4 of the novels) some of Slayers already, so I won't list that one.

Ahh hmm~ I'd highly recommend Matantei Loki Ragnarok. And Angelic Layer, if you haven't seen those. Honey and Clover is a good slice of life, as well.
