Anime Recommendations?

Some of my friends have been doing some form of this, so...

Anime Recommendations?

I'm behind with manga and have a ton of books to read, so, anime that people like and might recommend? I won't be as generous as Plum who is saying she'll watch whole series, but if you recommend something, I'll at least watch the first three episodes, sound fair? ( Read more... )

I just watched Noein... gash I loved it. And I don't usually like sci-fi-ish stuff...

Umm, what do you like? Kamichama Karin comes to mind for some reason, so I'll recommend that too. It is so endearing~

Also I feel the need to recommend Cromartie High School because it's the most hilarious show I've ever seen. Also Slayers! I have so maaany more. But I really, really enjoyed the ones listed. What's your favourite genre?

I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy person, although I have liked some slice-of-life series - particularly if they're funny or heartwarming.

Oh, and I've seen/read (I have 4 of the novels) some of Slayers already, so I won't list that one.

Ahh hmm~ I'd highly recommend Matantei Loki Ragnarok. And Angelic Layer, if you haven't seen those. Honey and Clover is a good slice of life, as well.

Also this is such a good idea, I think I'm going to do it myself~ ^^

I absolutely ADORE Angelic Layer (the anime, anyway; didn't really like the manga so much).

The other two have been recommended to me before, but I never got around to watching them.

Oh, the manga was awful. :S I was so disappointed! It's usually the other way around, but not with CLAMP. xD

So seconding the recommendation for Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok. ♥ It was one of my favorites.

Though I think I was most amused at how Mayura can pull off being both Agent Mulder and Scully at the same time. 8D;

Yes! It's quite amazing, no? It definitely doesn't get the recognization it deserves.

Unfortunately. D: And I came to the bandwagon too late, so the fandom'd died by the time I got around to finishing the series.

It was disappointing, but I agree so freaking much.
