I hate how politics is basically about who can bash the other person the most. I don't keep up with it for that reason, therefore I don't think I know enough about the candidates to vote wisely. Unless a candidate really really impresses me, I don't suspect I'll ever vote.
Sometimes I think with art-related jobs, people who are interested in them tend to dance around them because it's hard to make it anywhere with an art job. Also, with a lack of support, it's even more disheartening to even try to do anything in the field of art, so people temporarily or permanently settle for something less. That's at least how it is for me at times. Regardless, good luck with making your own manga/comic. If you keep at it, you'll get somewhere.
I had my first anime/game dream recently too, like I guess a month ago or so. It's weird because I would always see other people talking about them having a dream with "x character" or "x game", but even if I obsess over a series a lot, I always would dream about stupid stuff like myself eating (seriously) or something work-related or inspired by whatever is on the tv while I'm asleep. Anime/game dreams are really a pleasantly amusing surprise.
