Just pruned my f-list! Not a big deal if you would liek to follwo me, as I never f-lock stuff and you can stay watching me, of course, but if you only had me friended so I could read your f-locked journal, feel free to remove. He's going on the DL, hopefully for the rest of the season...I don't want to risk it, especially since it's not like we're going anywhere...

After seeing the video clip of Davey's moment last night, I think it's a good thing that he's on the DL. That was really scary.

I'm so glad I didn't watch the game. I can't even watch video of it, or look at pictures, it freaks me out too much.

Not nearly as bad as Juan Encarnacion's eye injury a couple of years ago (if you never saw that, please don't look for it -- it was simply horrible), but it's always scary to see a player go down that hard. Hopefully Davey will feel much better in short order with no repercussions.

I didn't look for video, but I searched him up on Wikipedia, and...wow, that's so awful. The injury sounds gruesome. He was having a pretty decent career too...I think Davey will get better if he misses the rest of the season and gets some rest.

Davey's injury freaked me out. It was too Tony Conigliaro-esque for me...and the way he just stayed down for so long...it was freaky.

He looked so AMAZING in his postgame. Eeeee. I wanted to jump him. And yay kitten! Today he was stretched out on the couch and he looked like a full-sized cat. I was sad because he's growing up so fast!

Every time I see the video, I cringe. If Conigliaro hadn't been hit and that ear flap wasn't made mandatory, David's injury could've been so much worse...it's really scary.

(Ronnie was mmmmm. And KEITH! YES! And why not Doc and Straw and Mookie and Hojo and Gary and everybody? '86, eee!)
