Oh, a friend of mine went with her mother in SNG just to watch Wicked. She said she enjoyed it, but her mother fell asleep during the performance. I do love broadway! One thing I'm dying to watch is Waiting for Godot; I was supposed to watch it in NYC when I had a trip in the US, but it was sold out and I had a flight back to SFO the day after. It was a shame, but I try my best to watch every now and then.
Also, I have broken at least (I think) 2 or 3 laptops and I assure you, buying a new one is the best choice unless the laptop has sentimental value or there are files that you do not wish to let go (like a pile of music or movies).
I've never heard of Waiting for Godot but after checking it out on Google, I can't deny it sounds fascinating! What really pisses me off about living where I am is that broadway has little to no significance here. I only knew about Wicked thanks to Glee, cause we rarely, if any, get musicals or anything Broadway related here. Which is seriously a pity cause I know I'd love to check it out more... but not only is it not available, the ones that do come can be expensive... or just too far away. How did you find out about Waiting for Godot anyways?
Oh, the laptop has no sentimental value for me much. I was expecting it to break down at some point, evident with the fact that I had already backed up most of my files prior to this. I thought it'd be easy to fix though, and not a complete hardware failure, cause I cannot imagine spending more money buying a new one. But I guess I'll get another person's opinion on my laptop before finally buying a new one, cause I seriously need one soon.
I was a big book geek (I guess I still am now, only now I am forced to read a limited set of books to devote myself into for studies) that I read everything I get a hold of (and throw to oblivion the horrible ones immediately). It all started when my older sister, being a literature major that she is, provided all the good stuff for dummies like me. Eventually, I found my own ground and I went from the Little Prince into being an LotR fan that I almost attempted to learn Tengwar; however, I'm no linguist so I miserably failed! Samuel Beckett is the master of dark-esque comedies. These things are also bordered with movies and literature. Discover a good plate and choosing is not even an option! Beautiful things. :9
Wow, much respect to you for being able to read LotR! I was really into reading classical books back when I was in school, but when I tried to read LotR, it confused me a heck load! Which was weird considering I enjoyed reading... that was the first book to ever stump me. I wish I could get back into reading good books again... they cost way too much here, and the libraries aren't that great either. -__-
And I must add, I find your icons really, really pretty!!
