lol you know i mean it in a good way, darling <3

others might call me crazy, but i do have to say this -- i love the concept of reid's dreams. they are definitely a bit of a wake-up call.
and it was wonderful to watch reid process his feelings for luke and come to the realization that he is attracted to him.
the only thing in this one that really even got to me what the katie/luke, and amusingly, that only bothered me because i kept thinking "katie snyder and luke snyder" and how they are basically family xD yes, THAT is what got me, not the het-sex =P
after all, it is just a dream. a vivid one, but one that hopefully opens reid's eyes.

HA! I will admit, when first envisioning the scene I had to stop for a moment to do a mental flipping through the family tree. Then again, disturbing was the goal. ;) And aren't soap viewers by now largely immune to quasi-related relations?

Damn. And here I was liking the het-sex. Although the thought of Luke and Katie makes me squeamish a bit. And this...

“And…kinda squishy.”

Had me cracking up. I doubt that was the purpose of it, but I laughed. Loudly.

Was the beginning, when he was wondering why he's thinking about Luke so much and feels this pull and connection to him and before the Katie foot rub comes in, was that a part of the dream too or was that before he drifted off to sleep or something?

So glad you posted another chapter. Was missing this big time. Did you have a good trip?

That was absolutely the purpose. ;) And it was the first time ‘real’ Luke emerged (hence the room righting immediately afterward).

And, yup, the entire chapter was a dream (which isn’t to say that parts of it hadn’t previously happened in waking life).

Was missing this big time. Did you have a good trip?

Aww, thanks, babe. Jordan was spectacular. Looks like I left the region just in time…

I wasn't freaked out by any of it. You've captured the dream-state. I am giddy knowing it's now Reid's turn. ;)

WHAT a disturbing dream. Poor Reid. This must be totally unravelling. He's brave to keep analyzing the data, though.

UPDATE<3! You posted this when I was one minute away fron leaving home to go to class and I was this close to skipping class so I could sit down and read it. I read it on the way to class instead, but still, this close. ;)

Here endeth the het-sex.
Hooray!!! \o/\o/\o/

Oh, Reid. That's seriously the weirdest dream ever. Luke and Katie would be an hilarious and disturbing combination XD.

But I love how Reid is dealing with this, how he's analyzing everything and coming to terms with the fact that he might be gay and/or attracted to Luke and being so awesomely Reid-like about it.

Bond with? Connect with on a personal level? What did that even mean? Did he want to share secrets with Luke? Braid his hair?
Oh, gosh, the visual!

The hospital had long since stopped being a safe haven. Not only were thoughts of Luke violating the sanctity of Reid’s work with disturbing frequency, but should the Luke-stimulus ever be present for real - no matter how absorbed Reid might be parsing test results or enlightening a nurse, just the ( ... )

The author in me is giddy you were tempted, and the teacher in me is relieved you resisted. :)

Thanks for all your comments! So glad you liked the last line - I envisioned that ending months ago.
