Looking forward to reading it whenever it's posted - and congrats (again) on the move - the downsides of not living with family/room-mates are there as per oven mitts, people to fix the wi-fi, and backup for when there's a noise in the night, but the massive massive upside that compensates for it all, is the freedom to never have to worry again about the consequences if you've left your towels/pyjamas in the bedroom when you get out of the shower.

Heh, well. I usually have all the stuff when I live with people. My problem usually comes after when I'm like: "dammit, I KNOW I had a cupcake baking sheet, AMBER that fucking jerk musta stole it when she moved out."

I stole nothing from my ex-roommate, though frankly, I would have been doing her a favor. She had waaaay too much stuff she wasn't willing to let go of for someone moving into a dorm. NOT MY PLACE. NOT MY PLACE.

Moving is HELL. I'm refusing to ever move again. But think how awesome it will be once you're all settled :)

Moving is seriously the worst thing in the world. I'm glad you're getting settled though!! It takes time, but it's so worth it in the end. Plus, when everything is all done and put away and you finally get to relax in your own place? Nothing like that in the world. We just bought a house last year and got rid of all the roommates; I've never felt so relaxed or walked around as much without proper clothing attire LOL.

Can't wait until you post your BB :) Good things come to those who wait!! Real life comes first :D

Yes, all of this is so true. And these are the things I'm telling myself to stay motivated through how exhausting and overwhelming it all is now. If I just threw shit together to have it done, it would not make me as happy in the long run as I know I will be once my vision has come together and I have my very own space to be home in. :D

LOL, not having roommates is already the BEST. For many reasons, but pantslessness is pretty near the top of the list. XD
