Howdy, friends! How are you doing on this lovely Valentine's Day eve?
I'm about the same I've been all month: buzzing with energy and excitement because TOMORROW (finally! tomorrow!!!!) I am getting my first ever tattoo.
riyku is coming with me to hold my hand/tease me for being afraid of needles, and it's going to be sooo fucking beautiful. Seriously

I'm nervous about the needles, but not the pain. We'll see if I feel differently after I've actually, you know, FELT IT. XD

I like your idea of receiving prompts. My issue with things like masquerade is I start reading prompts and promptly become overwhelmed and leave.
How did you fail last year's bang??? Are we talking the J2-are-stuck-in-the-missile-silo story? Because I freakin' loved that!

It's the same thing for me with masquerade. So many prompts, so few of which interest me, that I would get tired and give up after like 2 pages. I also know there are things I will read that will squick me out, which is why I never did blindfold before. But since other people DO do all the reading, I just let myself benefit from their hard work. ^__^
I failed to write (or even start...) the story I plan to write this year for last year's bang. I ended up using the missile silo fic, which I also really like, but which is a little quiet and subdued and not really bigbang epic, because I'd finished it over a year ago and never got around to posting it, and I needed a back-up because I failed to write what I actually meant to.

If you still need someone to look over your fic (and don't mind that I won't be able to get to it until Monday or Tuesday), let me know :)

I would seriously appreciate it!! Not looking at it until next week is fine, I wanna do some fun writing this weekend. XD Could you DM me your email on Twitter? I know I used to have it, but my hotnail is terrible at remembering things.

But really though, it's super fun, and you can't really see the needle--it's not like they're continuously going in with the type that we use when we're giving an IM injection.
You'll do GREAT and I can't wait to see it!!!

It's OK. I'm sure the needle they use will be 100% Hep-C FREE, which means you've got one up on me and all the needles I deal with every day.
Plus, they're just injecting ink into the skin. Not veins, and not arteries (good god, I never want to have to pull arterial blood) so YOU'RE SAFE. IT'S A NO-MISS ZONE
