Howdy, friends! How are you doing on this lovely Valentine's Day eve?
I'm about the same I've been all month: buzzing with energy and excitement because TOMORROW (finally! tomorrow!!!!) I am getting my first ever tattoo. riyku is coming with me to hold my hand/tease me for being afraid of needles, and it's going to be sooo fucking beautiful. Seriously, every day since we booked the appointment has just been one more thing standing between me and this. I am so ready. It *is* going to be Supernatural themed--some of you probably know what it is, but I won't give away too much to those who don't. I am DEFINITELY going to post pictures when I get home. UHASIDHSIHFIDU, I JUST DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANY MORE.
This week was supposed to be more stressful than it ended up being, with a million morning meetings, but I still just want it to end. Plus, this is a holiday weekend, so I'm off Monday. #bless I just finished and posted my second spn_reversebang. I wrote 55,000+ words for this round between two stories that both ballooned to being way longer than anticipated. Don't get me wrong--I'm actually super happy with both of them--but they took a lot of work and kind of consumed my life a little? So now my next deadline isn't for months and I'm like, "My life no longer has any meaning????" I haven't decided yet what to write on this long weekend. I could get an early start on the bb hooker!Jared fic I am writing for spn_meanttobe WITH quickreaver I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. Or I could be really smart and start on my spn_j2_bigbang because it's going to be really epic and need 1,000,000 words and I really, really don't want to fail at it like I did last year. Or I could do something just for me or a charity fic or something. I JUST DON'T KNOW. I do know that I am kind of on a winning streak with word count so far this year, and I do NOT want to lose momentum.

The Carnal Carnivale: Round Opens February 21

I plan to participate again this year the same way I did last year by which I mean I'm not going to read through the prompts, but people are encouraged to send me any prompts they see that they would like to see me fill. I will definitely do at least one, but I'm thinking of trying to do more this year. I had a lot more fun than expected doing it, and it helped get me out of a rut.
I have one last fic-related thing, and then a silly meme, and then I will shut up. I wrote a fic for super_disney. It is done at just under 4,000 words and I don't post until February 24, so this isn't one of the crazy rushed beta pleas I usually post. But the fic is...there's nothing wrong with it, but I don't think there's anything *good* about it yet. Would anyone be interested in looking over a short mostly weechesters gen fic and making suggestions on where I can beef it up/add extra scenes? I am looking for more than a standard SPAG here; I think it was a cool idea that nearly anyone but me would have written better, so I have absolutely no ideas on what else to do with it, and I'd like someone who's willing to say what sucks and throw around ideas. It may just be that it'll be a simple little fic without much to it when it posts, but since I have some time, I figured I'd try to do better. Anyone interested?
