I think I took a wrong turn in Albuquerque

I've been itching to explore the fabled I-275 bike path that supposedly runs from Novi to Monroe. On Sunday morning, flastron put my bike in the back of his awesome $200 VW Rabbit GTI and dropped me off at the Home Depot on Ford Rd. in Westland. From there, it was easy to pick up the bike path. I decided to go north.

I too was searching for this mysterious bike trail. I would be glad to let others know where this bike path is. I was searching myself for it when I found this article. I have done the I-275 North ( Novi to M-14 ) and then finally found the South entrance. You do have to get on the Hines Parkway for several miles. I was on it North for three hours. It does go and and there are places that are closed but bikers have weaseled around. I merely followed their tracks. It was like an adventure. It has some poor conditions but still fun and worth the ride ! I have a map in jpg form ..If interested please let me know.

P.S. On a Saturday, I only ran across one biker on it....too cool, it's not crowded~
