First, it's flawless, perfect, like... it's complicated but realistic as well, the issues that were covered kind of scared me, because I'll probably be doing the same time some time in the future (jobs, relationships in general) and it hurt, but I enjoyed it so much. Oh and can I just shake Jongdae and Luhan for being cute and mean to each other (minusing the cute, sassy banter because those <3 ( ... )

I am so flattered to hear such high praise over this and *blushes and covers face* The issues here are meant to be realistic, the whole thing meant to be mostly realistic I suppose. Finding a job and settling into something like that can be very scary but I can assure you that you can do it, and that even if they're intimidating and scary, you can do it! hwaiting! I'm glad you could enjoy the manner in which it was depicted here. And yes, of course you can shake them. They deserve to be shaken tbh.
This isn't a concept I am used to but I really had fun playing with the concept of soul mates, personal freedom and choice, and also the different manners of soul mates that are represented in this story. Honestly, I think many people need a kyungsoo in their lives~
I am glad you enjoyed how this whole thing worked itself out. It was a true journey to write~

chenlay is my ultimate otp but... but.. this... luchen is creeping and leeching its way up to the top. OMFG. this story is just so heartbreakingly kinda realistic and beautiful. It's scary because Jongdae's personality is like mirroring someone I know (except Jongdae here is so annoyingly stubborn thickheaded and stupid hahahahaha. his persistence, irritation and all the defensive mode r like.. stunningly similar wow. it scares me XD)
I was reading on and I just wanted to throw my phone on the wall for being for frustrated with Jongdae. Like I can't even. It's so annoying but it's just makes me in love with his character here. I applaud Luhan in this story. It's kind of sad that Jongdae was kinda a dick in the past (and 70%in the present) Wow. Okay lemmie check and quote back part of the story that left a mark on me.

“I am not trying to fuck with your feelings, Lu Han,” Jongdae retorts, a bit louder as his frustration mounts. “It’s not a game, and I’m not laughing. But it is a game, I just want to stop playing because right now I’m losing.”
“Well, that must suck for you,” Lu Han spits, jerking back. “Have fun dealing with losing for once.” Before Jongdae can open his mouth and tell him that’s not what he meant though he isn’t sure what he meant now, the door slams shut and Lu Han is gone.
NUUUU BOTH R SUFFERING HERE. Jongdae said it wrongly. i mean can't he even hear what he is actually saying T_T wow. i didn;t know if I wanted to laugh so hard or cry. and LUHAN, he broke. he effing broke and it broke me too. and i just cant comprehend any vocab for this.

Just for reference, Jongdae isn't based on a real person, he's a separate character construction, but I am delighted that you found him so realistic (even if he was annoying as all hell at times). Maybe your friend needs a kyungsoo ;)
He is extremely frustrating, isn't he? I honestly had similar feelings while writing this but, well, he got spun around in the end, didn't he~ Lu Han is probably my favorite but eh~

Zitao and Baekhyun and the wedding planning was *adorable*~
Kyungsoo gives the best advice: just wear black // one word answers while aggressively shredding cheese.
Chanyeol's advice was perfect too: smiling and sympathetically telling Jongdae he's an asshole while patting his knee.
Jongdae was really an oblivious jerk, and Lu Han was almost too good to be true, not giving up on pursuing JD and not pushing him at all. And then he...lost his temper. Like Jongdae probably deserved it, but Lu Han, sweetheart, you would feel so much better so much sooner if you could just let it go!
The ending = so perfect! Things he planned and ideas he had crumbled between his fingers and even with knowing that it’s not always going to be easy, that a happily ever after isn’t perfect, he realizes he likes it better. Reality is always better, and it's ok that true love isn't perfect. The sticky spots just make it overall sweeter.
