When we planned the dates for this round of Chenpionships, we were expecting around 50-70 fics, so we gave ourselves 9 posting days. However, since we currently have 100+++ fics, we might need to start postings a little earlier than planned, so that less fic can be posted per day and readers won't be overwhelmed by too much fic.

We are currently at 12-13 fics a day with 9 posting days and wish to bring it down to 9-10 fics (ie. starting postings on the 9th of September instead of the 12th, giving us 3 extra posting days - 12 posting days!).

However, we need your help to do this! We can only start postings on the 9th if we have at least 40 submitted fics before the 5th of September. We understand that the original final submission deadline is on the 7th, so we will not be changing it officially. But if you have the time to complete your fic now, please do so and submit it to us!

• Once you have completed your fic (remember: it has to have a minimum of 2,109 words!), please follow these submission guidelines:

• Do not reply to any of our previous emails - compose a new one!
• In the body of the email as well as at the top of your fic, include the following details:

• Please attach your fic to the email as .txt, .rtf, .doc or .docx files. Do not insert your fic into the body of the email.
• If your fic exceeds 10,000 words, split it into parts of 5-9k words each and submit each part in a separate file.
• Please name your file(s) as follows: PROMPT # BY USERNAME (eg. PROMPT #921 BY LORDCHEN). If your fic is in multiple parts, please add a _PART 1 and so on (eg. PROMPT #921 BY LORDCHEN_PART 1).
• Remember to include all html coding required in your fic (bold, italics, etc). Do not include post styling (div/table margins, blockquotes, etc).
• We recommend you test your fic by posting your submission into a private post on your LiveJournal to see if the formatting is correct.
