So, I apparently have some sort of gremlin poking around. While watching Firefly on the dvd player, it decided that it was going to skip tons and tons, and not be very nice. I go through electronics like that. I went through 12 computers at my high school lab. The teacher put me in the PC lab (before, it was Macs) and said if I broke that one, she'd just finish my semester with me doing theory on paper. Not to get all new agey, but I think it's magnetic fields.

Erm. I understand the draw laptops (oh, yes, yes, I do), but you can get a Dell PC right now for like $300 and they're upgradeable.... *petpet*

Yes, but if I wanted to get what I have, $300 would probably be quite sufficient. I don't really need a laptop at all. Not really. It would be a lot simpler and cheaper for Nyte to just get the computer parts. But I think he knows I want a laptop, and is trying to give me incentive to get hired. Erm, except I'm trying. I'm just not getting calls back.

Yeah. It does. I know for a fact that the telephone banker position is going to start training on the 6th of September, so that doesn't leave them long to figure out who they're going to have training.
