He kind of does the cat thing all the time.

But overall, this wasn’t an extremely enjoyable concert.

Because of the music? The fans? The venue? The mixing? The band?

Why so subjective, reviewer?

I wasn't at this particular show, and as a 16 year old who hates ageism, I do kinda wish that there were less of the little 12 year olds. I mean, I was going to shows when I was twelve, but I knew better than to buy floor tickets where I might get trampled. I brought my dad with me to the Dallas show, because I love going to shows with my dad, and he spent over half of the show bodily carrying crying and screaming pre-teens out of the pit who kept screaming "get me out get me out get me out, I need to get out" I think 21+ shows isn't the answer but a 15+ age limit on general admission tickets may be neccessary, just so I'm not pulling kids off the floor during Vampire Money so they don't get trampled because "I'm looking for my cell phone, I dropped it!"

This, and the standing in line with little scene queens "omg gee way so hot!!111!111!!1" got old too.

I agree about the GA. I can understand how if it's someone's first concert then can be unprepared for how rough the pit can be, but it really presents a huge safety hazard. There are a bunch of very small girls who don't know how to protect themselves. I can't tell you how many people pushed past be at my Starland show looking absolutely beat up and terrified. And these were girls who had been waiting there for about eight hours before the show to secure a good spot.

I don't know if putting an age limit is the solution but I just wish more of the young, new fans could get a better idea of what to expect from GA shows before placing themselves directly in the middle of it.

This person just described every concert ever. There will always be certain people screaming to the singer that he's hot. And just screaming in general. And a lot of singers ask the crowd to take care of each other or w/e. Maybe the author of the article can also tell the people in the pit not to dance and jump? Seriously...

..I wonder is the "cat sounds" were really Gerard's attempts to do a wold howl before House of Wolves? /o\

"But overall, this wasn’t an extremely enjoyable concert."
Really? Because this was one of my favorites.
I went to five shows on this tour and the most enjoyable for me were the second night in LA and the Vegas date. Oakland was great in its own way but the last two dates on this tour were some of my favorite MCR shows ever, so I think this person let whatever else was going on around them get to them and they ended up not having fun.
I wasn't in the pit but I was on the outskirts of the main floor area and from where I was it didn't really seem that bad, but maybe that was just where I was?

Also fighting doesn't necessarily have anything to do with age. In my experience fights break out just as often, if not more, with drunk people so...

I think people just need to not let others rain on their parade so much and just have fun despite other people being obnoxious/clueless/inexperienced etc.

i think they should do shows for people who are... vertically challenged. it's fine with me making a show 21+ but i am only 5'2" and i would like to be able to see. THANKS.

LAUGHING MY ASS OF. As a fellow 5'2" lady, may I second this? Rarely have I been to a concert where I could stand on the floor and not, at some point, had my face shoved into the spine of some poor dude in front of me.
