i am spending my valentine's day very un-romantically this year: getting my passport photo, driving boo to joann fabrics to get the yarn to make a chowder hat, then putting in grades for the whole school. ugh who makes grades due on a holiday? especially since we don't even have school tomorrow

"promises of eternity" is one of their bigger singles, i think? it's most likely one you've heard before if you've heard any of these :) but i'm glad you're downloading - the magnetic fields make such sweet-with-a-side-of-crazy music. it's such an interesting mix!

Ooh! For some reason I keep winding up with songs from these albums but don't have the whole collection, I should really remedy that. :D I love "Absolutely Cuckoo", that might be my favorite of what I know. Though I've also heard and love "All My Little Words" and "(crazy for you but) not that crazy". Thanks for broadening my library of songs! ♥

the first and second volumes of 69 love songs are totally worth it imo; volume 3 only really has two good songs. :/ and YES "absolutely cuckoo" is my favorite song of theirs! (hence why it's track one... haha.) the magnetic fields' music is so weird and quirky, but that's why i love it so much. ♥
