Dead Souls by Gogol First vol only this Sunday.

We will read the entire work by Sunday it is only about 260 pages in most editions. We are reading the novel-- not the play.

So as it turns out the one book I suggested is really part one of a two part novel one of which was only translated in 2006 so it might be hard to find... and two books is cheating and apparently Clover is anti-proust due to a traumatic experience.
