OKAY BOOK CLUB!
So as it turns out the one book I suggested is really part one of a two part novel one of which was only translated in 2006 so it might be hard to find... and two books is cheating and apparently Clover is anti-proust due to a traumatic experience.
Hence, it will be Catch-22 -- a book everyone references but I have only know two people to finish-- wait-- no-- I think I only know one person to have finished it-- if fact I think that person is Ash....
Well with Ash's permission I would liketo put forward this book because it fits both credentials for the club:
1. it is a classic that a lot of people talk about
2. and perhaps most importantly - we (I suppose I mean me and clover) would not finish the book if it were not for book club peer pressure.
So onward and upward!
Oh and if anyone is staying in Buffalo and would like to join a book club that meets once a week and finished a book every two weeks please do.
We spend about 10mins on the book we read and usually a sick amount of time on Harry Potter concerns.
