This has got to be my favourite chapter; it's well thought-out, you've captured the essence of the characters and their family and relationship dynamics brilliantly (far better than Meyers, I have to say) and the argument between them all not only makes more sense than in the book, but is on a much deeper level that I must admit to now seriously missing from the original one, without previously having thought about it too much.

I seriously loved this.

And than you for sharing your thoughts with me; I love it when I can do that with another writer -- and especially one whose writing I enjoy as I do with yours. I love learning how authors thought when they wrote it, and their reasons (or inspiration one could say) for writing something a certain way.

It's something I really think you did well, giving everyone an opinion and making it more real (like with Jasper and the lack of him listening to Carlisle, because you're right - as much respect as they might have for him, both Rosalie and Jasper seemed pretty damn hellbent on wanting to kill Bella and even if he forbade them to do so, it's not as if they couldn't just have done it anyway and then left the family -- they both must've known they'd be forgiven and asked to come back, even if after a few years, because of Esme) and far more of a fight than a simple talk.

I guess it does show that they've not had many family fights, if that's the worst one (in MS), but still.
