It took Pickles another hour before he came back, dreadlocks drenched, the bags he was carrying nearly soaked through. "You home baby?" He called from the door, setting down the groceries and offering Kate a treat that he'd bought before slipping out of his shoes and peeling out of his jacket.

"Mmm..." It's... a reply at least. He's folded himself into a corner of the couch, knees up, his nose in the notebook.

Kate, apparently, figured out early that Miniver wasn't going to be a good playmate tonight.

Pickles picked up the tiny dog. "Aw, c'mere Katiebear." He ruffled her head and dropped himself on the couch, smiling, "Babe?" He asked, the tone being one of concern.

Yes, he was aware of what Miniver was reading, but... he didn't recall everything he'd written.

That's just enough to get him to peek over the notebook, blinking like someone who's just been awakened from a long nap. He takes in the sight of Pickles and the puppy and promptly flops against them with the notebook in hs arms. He closes it except for a finger to keep his place between pages.

"Sean? I love you, okay? I love you a lot. Just... um... I really, really do. It's important, okay?"

"Ohhh, yer on a hard part, ain'tcha." He fathomed a guess. "Baby, I love you too, really. I know you know it, you gotta trust me, things're in the past now, I wrote 'em out to get 'em gone, y'know?"

He put his hand through Miniver's hair and sighed. "Seriously. I know you love me. I know how much, too. The little things you do, that's pure love right there, s'why I brought 'em up a few days ago."
