3D Modeling? *ears perk up*
You should totally get a Mac. They're great for graphics-intensive programs. The movie industry almost exclusively uses them. And if you need to use 3D Studio Max you could just get Windows for a Mac.

Yep. 3D Modeling. I'm going to have get into it in the Spring. Both nervous and looking forward to it. Nervous because I'm stressing about getting a computer that's capable of running the software I need, and looking forward to it because some of the 3D artwork I've seen is outright phenomenal. <3
Ah! Good to hear it! That's really encouraging to hear that Macs are being used in the film industry to such a high degree. Maybe this means the gaming industry use Macs to a high degree as well. ^^
