You're the new guy on my f-list, so guess I still don't know much about you. Which country was that? Was life rough growing up?

Not really hard...just hard to see a future sometimes.
...I was raised by TV, more or less. I've only been in the country since Dec 2001, yet had no trace of an accent when I got off the plane.

...I was also raised on toku, thus, the shiny costumes kept my spirits up =P

...except for Goggle V. Man, that sucked.

Waitaminute, are the Philippines considered a 3rd world country? They have TV, they have computers, and I've met quite a few on-line so I guess they must have a good internet infrastructure. Much better than some African country where food, shelter and electricity are scarce. ;)

Thanks, I think it just grew out of that suicide post you made recently, as well as all the suicide reports in Japan in the past two weeks. Really bugs me!

And welcome back! I guess that means the NTT guy finally showed up? ;)

I was born in a developing country D:

I guess I was just thinking about people on my f-list, which you *would* be on if only you'd post something! ;)

Anyway, thanks for responding, that was a really interesting read. I honestly don't know much about Brazil except that they love their soccer. ;) Your reflection kinda reminds me of how even though I enjoyed visiting Tokyo monthly, I would never want to live there and was always relieved to get back to my small rural town.
