This is super helpful, I've never seen a tut with the basics explained so well. This will help a lot of people!!

Also, I never knew you could use that variation of the clone tool, the pattern tool to...pattern. THE MORE YOU KNOW~*

:D Thank you! That's a relief :) Its so hard to know if I'm explaining things with too much or not enough detail.

Yeah the pattern tool is awesome! You can use it with your brushes and it adds so much. I went through a phase where I used it alllll the time. lol
