Judgement: Think about times when you considered doing something, decided not to do it, and then it turned out for the best. Or tried something, decided it was not for you and stopped (sometimes reversing a bad decision shows good judgement). Think about decisions you have made that have positioned you to be able to survive in DC this long -- learning to cook, adapting a low-cost lifestyle, etc. Think about good friends you have selected (and why) and losers you have walked away from (and why). Think about your decision to pursue the Foreign Service because that is the right career path for you, despite the obstacles you have had to overcome.

Working with others: You could probably write a pretty entertaining essay about your adventures in the temp world, and some lessons learned about how to quickly establish productive working relationships with people you have just met.

Judgement again: Good judgement can also mean acting in alignment with your values and beliefs, even if the immediate outcome is not positive, or if the outcome is not known. Doing the right thing is always good judgement.
