Abby Sciuto's Office, All day Tuesday

Sep 05, 2006 10:03

Abby knew that it was possible that some of her new students wouldn't have computers. So she made some phone calls and and settled down in her office to see if any students showed up.

She busied herself by working on her lesson plans. Or by playing Halo 2. Whichever.

Sir Didymus after figuring out how to check his voice mail he's so not good with modern technology so sue him, he made his way to Prof. Abby's office. Certain he had the correct door, he tapped lightly on it with his staff.

Didymus, being rather short in stature, fought with the door and managed to get it open. He looked at Abby. "Greetings Professor Abby I presume?" He asked.

"Wow." Abby stared at Didymus for a very long moment. "Yes, I'm Abby. Can I help you?"

Door follows the map of the school from her packet of new-student things well enough; she knocks on the doorframe shortly after receiving Professor Sciuto's message.

"Hello?" And there's always the wait, to see if she'll be noticed there or not. "I'm Door. You left me a message." If she still sounds surprised at that, it's only because she is.

"Hi, Door!" Abby grinned happily and motioned her inside. "I did leave you a message. You're here for a computer?"

"I suppose so, yes." Door nods. "I've never used one before. I'm not sure if they'll work for me; I might be wasting your time."

"You're in luck because I'm offering crash courses in computer technology today." Abby grinned and pointed at a seat. "A computer wouldn't dare work for you in my office. It knows what I can do to it if it misbehaves."

Mac tapped on Abby's door a couple of times, and poked her head in. "Hey, Professor Abby."

Mac grinned broadly, moving further into the office. "It's cool to see you again too."

"I just came to find out if there was anything specific you wanted me to do, now I'm TA-ing for you and all."

"Save me from the hunt-and-peck nightmare?" Abby flailed a bit before smiling at Mac. "I may have you help out the new students tomorrow. If today is any indication there are lots that have never even touched a computer before."
