Horror movies and books, that's all there is to my personality

For some reason I got it in my head to watch all 500 movies on the Top 500 Horror Movies list on icheckmovies? I don't know why, because it's still really strange to me that I like horror movies at all, and I think like might be too strong a term. When I was about 11-ish I watched Scream for the first time and had nightmares about Ghostface for ( Read more... )

Horror films aren't really my thing either, but mostly because I get scared TOO easily, and I don't like having gorey dreams about them afterwards.

10. Nosferatu (1922) -- also on tv. What the fuck have I been watching?
AHAHAA, that was my reaction too! I only got through half of it before I got too bored and never picked up the rest.

14. The Birds -- oh, god, I love this movie beyond the telling. Also, I want Tippi Hedren's hair. And name.
ME TOO IT'S SO GRATE OMG.

213. The Lost Boys -- decent. Was there a plot?
LOLOLOL no I don't think so. I also gave up partway on this one, but the fanfic I found years ago about it is fucking fantastic and dark and twisted. (uh, incest warning, I guess ( ... )

I have gorey dreams regardless of what I watch. Usually, for some reason, about either dead women in bathtubs or people cutting their own eyes out. I come conveniently pre-fucked up!

I think The Birds was one of the few that actually freaked me out a little. It is really well-made and well-directed and just... I love it.

It was pretty fun to write. Normally I snark at my friends via aim, but they can't handle horror AT ALL, so I have to be really non-specific and can't laugh about the stupid gore. Maybe I should do, like, live blogs or whatever of when I watch these things, but I have a feeling that would get really old, really fast.
