Witty title goes here

I have lost a word. What is it called when authors have a quote or a piece of a poem on the very first page of the book? Whatever it's called I have a lot of those. In fact, among the many, many things I collect, shit like that has a prime position, which is, in part, what this entry is going to be about.

The whatchamacallits in question. )

i'm being gross again, look out! the monkey's writing again!, work work work, pointy-elbowed marshmallows, angelsverse, books

It's called an epigraph, pumpkin.

Also, if you're up for it, i'm running word wars all day.

That's it, yes.

Also, I wish. But between this computer and my absolute non-enthusiasm towards anything word related... well. Mostly I sit here, pout my lips and go blblblblblblb.

I am mostly judging you for too many quotes from the same source. DIVERSIFY!

Also, there are no quotes by me. I feel this is a grievous error.
