So, this'll be the third time now a dance, or prom, or something similar has come up, that I don't currently have a date for?  I suppose then that I'll have to put out an invitation to all the ladies of the school.

I hope that at least this time, they will have the courtesy to actually respond, even if it is to say no.

I'm not sure I could handle that happening again. Although at the very least it'd be a sign that at least SOMEONE'S interested in me.
