I want a pink flamingo for my birthday.

Through eyes and lips and flesh
The scorpion's tail caressed
Fear filled moments
While whispering dreams
and the promise of life
Across the length of time and sky

Lungs filled with air
For the very first time
There's a shudder in my heart
I know was never there
Words bound with caution and fear
Yet...
I know you will set me free

You stole my words and now I don't know what to say.
