i'm afraid it'll have to be a no for now, based purely on the fact that adding a clone would cause too much confusion when talking about the character, people would not know which version of you i was on about. if you want to take over from the other version, why not poll his friends to see how many of them would prefer you, and see if they can collectively ask the other version to step down? if you do take over, let me know, as i'm more than a little fond of dom myself.
