Note for the rest of my trip: I am an iPad user with an external keyboard. It needs to be recharged now and I won't be able to until I get home. Entries will be briefer and .. well, and so on. So many errors

My dad was interested in Thor Heyerdahl and that's how I heard of him and the Kon-Tiki expedition. He had a book about it that I read after he finished it. I don't even remember how old I was, just that I found it fascinating.

I read the book, too, so I don't know if it was in paperback or in a Readers Digest condensed book volume - typical! I may also have seen the documentary, if it was on television. Later, I read his book about Easter island. I also thought he was an extremely handsome man lol.
