Note for the rest of my trip: I am an iPad user with an external keyboard. It needs to be recharged now and I won't be able to until I get home. Entries will be briefer and .. well, and so on. So many errors.
Today I took the ferry to Bygdoy (can't do Norwegian symbols on the built in keyboard) to visit a couple of museums. One was the Kon-Tiki museum, all about Thor Heyerdahl and his famous journey.. ah, look it up. (lol this is just so frustrating).
The second museum centers on the polar ship Fram, built for Nansen's arctic expeditions and also used by Amundsen on his antarctic expedition. The museum has very thorough exhibits on the Northwest Passage and polar exploration.
I had lunch, then returned to the hotel to move into my new room (yes). Went to the bar for a Coke and chips (crisps).
