Atlantis - things to do

While it does seems as though the cancellation of Atlanis is something set in stone, given the deliberate nature of the decision, fans of Atlantis who would like to try to do something about the cancellation have a couple of outlets.

Thanks for posting the links. I had no idea a movement was underway. And getting organized just before DragonCon -- perfect, timing is everything! While I was never *against* a third series, it will really make me mad if it is the only reason they're pushing aside Atlantis at this time. They started Atlantis while SG-1 was still on the air. How come they can't overlap series again?

I figure it's got to come down to money. When SGA premiered, the US dollar was still VERY strong against the Canadian dollar, giving the production a kind of cost break. Now, 5 years later, not only is the US dollar very WEAK against the Canadian dollar, but cost of goods has gone WAY up due to skyrocketing gas prices and inflation in general. Now, these last two factors may not be affecting Canada as severely as they are the US, but they could still be a factor
